Junior Year (2013-2014)
In my first two years of college, I spent a majority of my time being focused on how to improve myself from a professional standpoint. I got into my majors, lab, and various on campus involvement opportunities. My Junior year was more relaxed compared to my freshman and sophomore year as I was simply keeping up with my responsibilities rather than scouring for ways to improve my involvements. I stayed involved in lab, and replaced my UW Leaders involvement with Global Medical Brigades and have been involved with that ever since.
The key mantra of my Junior year was that I was able to focus less on the big scheme of UW and really break it down to my groups of friends in my major, friends in my lab, friends in my involvement, and my very tight group of interdisciplinary friends that I live with. |

Duhem-Quine Thesis Essay - Honors 392 Philosophy of Science
I really enjoyed this class in particular because it challenged the way we believe what we believe in the context of science, which is something that I assume to be truth. We went on to discuss how should we determine what is true and what is not in the context of the evolution of scientific theories of the world and it made me question our daily assumptions and bridge the gap between reality and strict-science courses.
