Sophomore Year (2012-2013)
My Sophomore year can be summed up as it being the reward of my hard work freshman year and the year I began to learn what real hard work actually looks like. After working diligently throughout Freshman Year to get good grades, I was finally able to apply for various opportunities and go forth in my goals. This year I was accepted into the Neurobiology and Biochemistry major and began my classes. This was a huge relief as it seemed for the first time I was actually able to begin studying content that was relevant to me. Rather than preparing for applying for something I wanted to do, I was finally immersed in everything I imagined I would be doing in college. I was involved through UW Leaders, UW Research, Neurobiology, and had oh so little time to socialize.
