Life en Roma
In the Summer of 2014, I was a part of a Creative Writing Study abroad program that went to Rome for 4 weeks. Throughout this process I dove into a new discipline and bathed in the new environment I was in. Throughout the course I practiced my long-forgotten English skills by analyzing literature and writing pieces of poetry and prose. It was extremely refreshing to be involved in non-science coursework and not be fighting against a curve of other students. At the end of my summer, I felt ready to get back into my normal coursework with more resilience after this break because I began missing my -istrys and -ologys by the end of the trip.
